Quantino: Launch of a unique high-tech incubator
Quantino, a high-tech incubator specializing in optics, photonics, quantum, deeptech and hardware, will be welcoming its first incubates this Fall.
Created and managed by INO, Quantino will help accelerate the growth of young companies and the development of cutting-edge technological solutions by bringing together first-class infrastructures, state-of-the-art equipment, and internationally renowned expertise in one location in Quebec City. It is the only incubator with expertise in optics-photonics in Canada.
Businesses interested in joining Quantino must focus on the development of an advanced technology product with strong growth perspectives. Call for candidates currently runs until June 30, 2020.
The Quantino initiative is made possible thanks to the City of Québec through its Vision entrepreneuriale Québec 2023 and the Ministère de l'Économie et de l'Innovation du Québec. Dassault Systèmes is also a key partner of Quantino.
The incubators will also benefit from a strong business ecosystem, including partners such as Innovation Canada, NRC-IRAP, Optonique, CMC, ISEQ, SAGE Mentorat d’affaires and Le Collège des administrateurs de sociétés.
